Parent Symposium
Nov 11, 2023

Parenting is filled with paradoxes. Some days seem to last forever and then at other times, a year is over in the blink of an eye. We want our kids to simultaneously grow up and slow down. We can feel like we have some parts figured out and in other areas, we are completely lost. Parenting at this moment in history is uniquely challenging with the added challenges and pressures of digital devices, extracurricular activities, and societal discord among the many already existing realities of raising children. There is no easy solution for all of this, but we do know that sharing some space with other parents who are facing similar challenges and may have a different perspective is helpful.

The Parent Symposium is a one day gathering for parents of all kinds - adoptive, foster, and biological - who desire to be encouraged and supported in their important calling. Keynote speaker Kayla Craig (author "To Light their Way" and "Every Season Sacred"), alongside other breakout speakers, will help us to take the next step in shaping our families as we examine the sacredness and formative power of our daily lives. Whether your parenting journey is just beginning or you are on a well-worn path, we think this gathering will bless you as a parent.

Join us on Saturday, November 11 at Mars Hill Bible Church from 9am-3:30pm for this unique gathering of parents.
